Paola Merlini is a professional with over twenty years of experience in the human resources sector, gained both in structured corporate environments and in consulting. She currently holds the position of HR Manager at Munich Re Italy, where she leads strategic projects in the areas of Compensation & Benefits, labor relations, training, performance management, and organizational development. Particularly attentive to corporate well-being and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion issues, she is involved in change management initiatives and actively participates in the Group’s international teams.
After starting his career in sales and HR at Cattolica Assicurazioni, he strengthened his skills at the headhunting company Diomede s.r.l., becoming Research Manager and then Senior Consultant. He continued his career at Munich Re with roles of increasing responsibility, up to his current position.
Graduated in Political Science with a psychological-social focus from the University of Milan, she has an excellent command of the English language and a basic knowledge of French. She is valued for her goal orientation, leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams, and interpersonal skills.
Alongside his professional career, he nurtures a passion for sports: he has participated in the World Speed Water Ski Championships and holds a Water Ski Instructor certification.
