Marika Assogna

20 years of experience gained in the field of cybersecurity, fraud management, IT compliance, IT risk management, initially as a consultant at NTT Data and, subsequently, in the financial sector, having worked at Fineco Bank and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena. At Nexi since 2019, Marika is responsible for IT and third-party risk management for all companies in the Nexi Group and Chief Risk Officer of Nexi Payments Italy.

Professor of "Technologies for Security" – has been teaching in the 2nd year of the Master's Degree in Public Political Sciences – Catholic University of Milan for 15 years.

My many years of experience in the ICT and Information Security, IT Compliance, and IT Risk Management fields have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of regulatory, technological, and organizational processes. In the past, I have held positions of responsibility that enabled me to build solid skills in managing complex projects and cross-functional collaboration, skills that I now fully apply in my dual role: Group IT Risk for Nexi Spa and Head of Risk Management for Nexi Payments Italia. This integrated and international experience has made me capable of operating in highly complex environments, maintaining an analytical approach, results-oriented, and based on trustful relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
