Milan, January 30, 2025 – On the occasion of FUTURA EXPO, the national event entirely dedicated to the culture of sustainability promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Brescia and ProBrixia, scheduled for March 7, 8, and 9 at the Brixia Forum in Brescia, the association Women&Tech® ETS is organizing the conference "Sustainability and Technological Innovation for Responsible Development."

Scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2:00 PM, the meeting, through testimonials and concrete projects, focuses on how technological innovation and sustainability can address global challenges and will feature representatives from companies, innovative SMEs, institutions, and the research world discussing ecological transition and new production models, artificial intelligence and automation, sustainability, new technologies, and innovative materials.

An authentic culture of ‘social responsibility’ requires those who have the power to make significant decisions within the corporate context to consider companies as assets built from the skills and qualities—entrepreneurial, managerial, technical-professional, and labor-related—of individual people. Declared Gianna Martinengo, founder and president of Women&Tech® ETS and creator of the event, who added, “we hope that this meeting can be a weaving together of themes, technologies, generations, companies, the public sector, and the world of research to offer the public points for reflection: questions, more than answers, to think about the role that all of us, both as individuals and as part of larger entities, are called to play in ensuring responsible and sustainable development, making sure that today’s innovations are not at the expense of those who will live on our planet tomorrow.”

The conference will feature the participation of Eliana Baruffi, Country Communications Manager, ABB Italy; Lorella Bigatti, Sole Director, Nuovenergie Teleriscaldamento srl; Monica Casadei, Founder – Chair of the Strategic Committee, Iride Acque SB Srl; Adriano Ceccherini, Chief Business Officer, SAP Italy; Linda Greta Dui, Post-Doc Research Fellow, Politecnico di Milano; Andrea Esposito, Education Partner Sales Manager South East, Dassault Systèmes; Mary Franzese, Co-founder and CMO, Neuron Guard; Valerio Galli, PhD student in Physics at Politecnico di Milano and Italian Institute of Technology.

The event will be closed by Annamaria Gandolfi, Equal Opportunities Advisor for the Lombardy Region.

Throughout the entire event, the Women&Tech® ETS association will also be present with its own booth (E14).
