On October 29 in Rome, the GLT Foundation is organizing its annual event, focused on social justice and combating violence.
With the entry into force of the Istanbul Convention and the recent European Directive against domestic violence, the need to strengthen the implementation of regulations in Italy is evident, highlighting the social cost of the delay compared to other European countries. Added to this is the urgency to address cyber violence.
In this perspective, the initiatives of the GLT Foundation respond to European recommendations on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, contributing to the spread of greater awareness and training. The prevention of economic violence also involves the promotion of digital and financial education, essential tools to ensure the economic inclusion of women, with a significant impact on the EU's economic growth, estimated at around 10% of GDP by 2050.
Women&Tech® ETS participates in the session "STE(A)M: voices of women" with an introduction by Gianna Martinengo, who will focus on the theme "Technologies and language: tools of resistance or places of violence?".
