What do you want to become?
Not "what job do you want to do," but who you truly want to become. It is from this question that Ready4Future® — The future of work between science and technology takes shape, a guidance project created by Women&Tech® ETS back in 2009. Today, its strength is more relevant than ever, and for this reason, it makes a stop at the Marconi Institute of Gorgonzola.
In a rapidly changing world, where professions continuously emerge and transform, guidance can no longer be limited to indicating a "right" or "safe" path. Ready4Future® supports female and male students in designing a personal future, consistent with passions, aptitudes, and values, offering tools to imagine hybrid careers, non-linear trajectories, and ever-evolving professional opportunities.
The program, aimed at fifth-year students in the scientific track – applied sciences (70 participants in total), includes four sessions:
The Young Ambassadors of Women&Tech® ETS, young professionals and researchers in the STEAM fields, bring their experience to stimulate curiosity, reflection, and openness towards diverse educational and career paths. The talk event with companies, on the other hand, offers an opportunity for direct interaction with professionals from leading companies, to concretely showcase the opportunities that the world of work offers today and in the future.
Since its inception by Gianna Martinengo in 2009, the goal of Ready4Future® has been to guide new generations through the professions and trades of the future. Today, building one’s future no longer means chasing “the job of a lifetime,” but knowing how to choose, evolve, stay curious, and adapt to changes. Ready4Future® accompanies young people on this journey, without predefined maps, but with tools to chart an authentic and personal path.

The series of meetings will open with the Young Ambassadors Tiziana Pirola and Alessia Soru, who will share with the fifth-year students the stories of their journeys and the choices that guided them. It will be a moment to reflect on passions, aptitudes, and personal values, and to understand how these can guide decisions about educational and professional futures.
In the second event, Giulia Suarato and Carla Secchi will be the protagonists, young researchers who will share their experience in the STEAM fields. Through their testimonies, students will have the opportunity to discover how career paths can be non-linear and open up unexpected possibilities, stimulating curiosity and openness to new directions.
An event aimed at young people of Generation Z, who will have the opportunity to meet Representatives of Institutions and top figures from the most prestigious companies, to receive advice, inspiration, and visions from them.
This event is organized as part of the Milano Digital Week, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Milan MonzaBrianza Lodi and its Committee for Female Entrepreneurship.
The series will conclude with a corporate talk event featuring Natasha Perfetti (SB Italia), Annachiara Castagna (TeamSystem), and Marco Marchesi (ABB). The three professionals will offer students a concrete insight into the challenges and opportunities of the working world, sharing direct experiences and perspectives on the ongoing transformations in the fields of technology and innovation.
