The Milan Longevity Summit will take place from March 21 to 29, 2025, transforming Milan into a vibrant international center of innovation, research, and outreach on health and longevity topics. During this week, the event will host world-renowned experts from various scientific and academic fields, including two Nobel Prize winners, who will present and discuss the latest scientific and technological discoveries through dynamic and engaging conference sessions. Additionally, numerous free workshops open to the public will be organized, aiming to provide practical knowledge, useful advice, and concrete tools to adopt healthier, more conscious, and longer-lasting lifestyles.
We particularly highlight the day of March 22, titled "Life Span vs. Health Span: Striking the Balance," which will take place at the Triennale di Milano. This event will offer a rich program of presentations and activities, including the Lectio Magistralis delivered by Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry Venkatraman Ramakrishnan.
During the event, Gianna Martinengo, founder and President of Didael KTS and Women&Tech® ETS, will participate in the panel designed and coordinated by Prof. Maria Pia Abbracchio, Full Professor of Pharmacology and Precision Medicine, former Deputy Rector and Deputy Rector for Research and Innovation (2018-2024), University of Milan.
Maria Pia Abbracchio will introduce the central theme of the panel, titled "Driving Change: How Artificial Intelligence and Inter-Generational Collaboration Can Tackle the Longevity Challenge", highlighting the crucial role of artificial intelligence and collaboration between different generations in addressing the challenges posed by increasing longevity.
Gianna Martinengo will specifically explore the topic "Longevity and Intelligence: The Future Between AI, Emotions, and Collective Wisdom", reflecting on the potential of artificial intelligence, emotional awareness, and collective wisdom in shaping the future of longevity and human well-being.
Elena Bonetti, former Minister for Equal Opportunities and Family, currently a Member of the Italian Parliament and Chair of the Italian parliamentary commission on the effects of the demographic crisis, will discuss the topic "The Challenge of the Demographic Transition in Italy: Economic and Social Implications", exploring the socioeconomic consequences of the Italian demographic transition and proposing concrete strategies to address these challenges.
