Women have always played a fundamental role in scientific research, even when their contributions were ignored or underestimated. Throughout history, many female scientists have faced significant obstacles in gaining the recognition they deserved, but their determination and talent have led to extraordinary progress. Today, the world is finally changing, and more and more female scientists are establishing themselves as key figures in innovation and technological development. However, the path to full gender equity in the scientific sector is still long and requires constant commitment from institutions, companies, and society as a whole.

To delve deeper into this transformation and share stories of talent, passion, and determination, Women&Tech ETS invites you to the presentation of the book "Science in the Feminine – Stories and Testimonies". This volume collects the experiences of successful female scientists, offering an in-depth look at the challenges they have faced and the extraordinary achievements they have reached. The event will be a valuable opportunity to reflect on how it is possible to break down the barriers that still limit female participation in the STEM sector and to understand how fundamental the contribution of women is to research and innovation.

  • Introductory greetings from: Gianna Martinengo, President of Women&Tech® ETS
  • Moderated by: Luca Carra, Journalist and director of Scienzainrete
