On May 7, 2024, Women&Tech® ETS met with the students of the Istituto Comprensivo Milano Spiga for a seminar dedicated to understanding and using artificial intelligence in daily life and the learning process.
The event, titled "AI Explorers: the contribution of artificial intelligence", was led by Gianna Martinengo, President of Women&Tech® ETS and CEO of Didael KTS, together with Simone Uberti, computer scientist and trainer at DKTS.
100 middle school students participated, accompanied by their teachers. The seminar offered an introductory course on the principles of AI, highlighting the functioning of intelligent systems and the implications of their use in educational, professional, and social contexts.
The morning included practical activities and guided demos, designed to make learning more engaging and hands-on:
These activities allowed the students to concretely experience interaction with AI, observing how machines "interpret" human requests and produce responses, while also providing opportunities for critical reflection.
The meeting is part of the Ready4Future project, through which Women&Tech® ETS promotes training programs aimed at young generations and their teachers, with the goal of developing digital skills, technological awareness, and active participation in the society of the future.
