ENERGY - Engineering of the Future (4th Edition)

An event where energy is: skills, vision, transformation, the real and inner engine of innovation.

The main participants will be master's degree students from various engineering fields (energy, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, nuclear…); students will alternate with professionals and company representatives, who have acted as their mentors and coaches, to present innovative projects for the future of the market, designed with creativity… and energy!

The presentation will take place in groups of students who have shared the project idea and, under the guidance of their mentors/coaches who will also represent them during the presentation, have developed solutions and proposals according to a methodology based on the 4 steps of the COACH_ING® model.

This year, the student groups, supported by our former and new exceptional mentors and coaches Fabrizio Fascia, Umberto Babuscio (RAI WAY), Rachele Bitelli (IBERDROLA), Laura Liguori (Vice President Women&Tech® ETS and partner at Portolano-Cavallo), Elisabetta De Santis (ISTAT), Alfonso De Simone (Fastweb + Vodafone), Bruno Picentino (NUCLECO), Fulvio Vitali, and by our experts in the integrated model of COACHing and ENGINEERING Giovanna De Girolamo, Ida De Rossi, Stefania D'Innocenzo (TESI Engineering), applied the 4 steps of the COACH_ING model to transform ideas into strategic plans: from defining the subject to vision, objectives, resources, solutions, and actions, to bring their innovative and "intelligent" projects to life.

The event will be conducted as a sort of challenge, not only between the student groups but also among those who support them (mentors and coaches); everyone will be, and we will be, evaluated by those present according to the key parameters of public speaking (expressed content, audience engagement, etc.) and according to skills such as creativity, innovation, initiative, energy, and teamwork.

The keyword is EngineeRING, with the AI capitalized! For the first time, in fact, all projects have been developed by integrating artificial intelligence logics and tools: a real step towards the engineering of the future.

The event represents the final test of the laboratory course “Soft Skills for today’s engineer", previously called "Entering the world of work through coaching: Scenarios, Tools, and Strategies,” led by engineer and PCC coach Viviana Callea and now in its fourth edition. A laboratory where coaching and engineering merge, intersect, and integrate within the COACH_ING model, to stimulate new learning in young people and guide them towards a change in perspective and outlook. It starts from who you are, passing through what you know how to do, and moving towards what you want to do; our way of conducting the "classroom" also stems from the desire to strengthen the bridge between university and work, combining technical knowledge, project planning, teamwork, and the innovative strategies of our model. This model represents engineered coaching for anyone who wants to change, focusing on the starting point and knowing how to navigate a sea of possibilities. Order, method, strength, and lots of energy, for us and for our young people.

The focus always remains on the individual and their human, transversal, and personal skills. We want students to learn how to identify which resources, among their professional skills and strategies, support the success of a project and the transformation of an idea into something tangible. The purpose of our course is, in fact, to provide a rigorous, clear, and flexible method to make each person aware of their optimal set of skills and distinctive personal characteristics, to be best utilized in the world of work, in order to fill desired roles and profiles with flexibility, mastery, and ease.

An event aimed at all those who are called to consciously decide and choose their career, whether it is academic, university, or organizational, drawing inspiration from those who, with method and creativity, are already building intelligent, sustainable, and energy-filled solutions.
