Laureata in Scienze Politiche frequenta nel 1988 il primo Master italiano in Comunicazione d’Impresa e Nuove Tecnologie “Lucrezio Lab”.

Nel 1995 contribuisce alla nascita ed allo sviluppo della start-up Video Online, il primo Internet Service Provider in Italia. Nel 1997 in Publikompass crea la prima concessionaria di pubblicita’ online. Dal 2000 al 2014 lavora nel Gruppo Dentsu Aegis Media, con il ruolo di CEO di Isobar Italia e iProspect. Dal 2014 al 2021 in Digital Magics, incubatore di startup, ricopre la carica di Executive Board member e Chief Innovation Marketing & Communication Officer.

E’ co-fondatrice, co-direttrice e professoressa a contratto del Master UNA-Almed/Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore “Digital Communication Specialist”. Presidente Onorario IAB Italia e fondatrice dello IAB Forum il piu’ importante evento italiano dedicato alla comunicazione e all’innovazione digitale.

Da Gennaio 2022 è alla guida del Board Innovazione Tecnologica e Trasformazione Digitale del Comune di Milano.

Ha ricevuto il Premio Eccellenza Manager Italia nel 2008 e l’NC Award Premio Ambasciatrice della Comunicazione nel 2010.

Ha scritto numerosi articoli e tenuto speach in contesti istituzionali nazionali ed internazionali dedicati all’Innovazione tecnologica e alla Trasformazione Digitale

E’ Co-Autrice di vari libri dedicati all’evoluzione delle tecnologie digitali tra cui il libro “La pubblicità del futuro” edito da Hoepli.

While at university she worked as a journalist.

After the degree in Political Sciences and International Relations, she attended the first Master course in Italy focused on Corporate technologies for marketing and communication.

In 1988, she was hired as Marketing Manager in a Media Company, SPI-Società per la Pubblicità in Italia. From 1993 to 1995 she worked in Poland in one of the most important newspapers, Zycie Warszawy, and as advertising sales representative for Publicitas.

In 1995 she contributed to the start-up of the first Internet Services Provider of Italy Video On Line as Corporate Marketing and Communication Manager, developing the online advertising business.

In 1997 - thanks to the experience acquired on the internet, combined with the advertising and communication competences she had developed - she worked at Publikompass, building the first internet media business unit in Italy dedicated to online advertising sales.

From 2000 to 2014 she worked as Managing Director of the digital companies of Dentsu Aegis Media Group, one of the world’s foremost conglomerates focused on digital media and marketing.

From 2003 to 2010 she was President Italy of Interactive Advertising Bureau - the most important world association for digital marketing economy and industries – and from 2008 to 2010 she was also President of the European Chapter.

She was member of the Board of Audiweb (Joint Industry Committee for online audience measurement) and co-author of the book: The future of advertising: Programmatic Buying e Real Time Bidding Ulrico Hoepli Editore, Milan (2015).

In 2007 she was recognized Manager of the Year by ManagerItalia, the most important managerial association in Italy.

From 2014 to 2021 she was Chief Innovation, Marketing & Communication Officer and Board Director at Digital Magics, the main business incubator in Italy, holding around one hundred startups in its portfolio, and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and risk to contribute to economic growth and increase the youth-employment rate.

In 2022 she was appointed by the Mayor of Milan as Head of the Board for Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation of the City of Milan. She is responsible for the impulse, planning and coordination of the activities of the Board, defining the related work program and ensuring compliance with the guidelines and strategies of the Mayor and the City Council. The Board is composed by ten members, representing the stakeholder ecosystem of the city of Milan: universities, associations, big, medium and small companies, startups.
