She applies her "Inspired by user, driven by science" approach to the areas of research and business, technological innovation, empowerment for women.
Behind the ideas, always the people and their competence. Her professional, demanding and highly satisfying path witnesses her as an entrepreneur of "doing" with a natural predisposition for innovation.
This attitude offers her great opportunities to aggregate ideas and share knowledge and expertise.
She is proactive with respect to the transformations of society, she anticipated the development of technologies at the service of citizens, by means of a passionate research on and experimentation of new learning technologies.
Research and experiments have been supported by her cultural experience, both in the humanities (Bocconi and Cattolica ) and in technologies (Stanford, Ca).
Pioneer in her sector, she founded numerous start-ups in Italy and abroad, developed 800 projects in the business sectors, internationalization, technological and social innovation.
The research and development activities have enabled her to get in touch and work with around 400 business realities, research centers and universities in Europe, the United States, Canada, China and Brazil.
Since 1999 she has dedicated herself to supporting women and young people. In 2007 she conceived and implemented the international project "Women & Technologies®" and launched an award: "Le Tecnovisionarie®". In 2009 she founded the Women and Technologies Association, in 2010 she conceived the "Ready4Future" project and in 2018 "The tram of innovation".
From 2020 to 2023, she was a member of the International Advisory Board of STOA, Panel for the future of Science and Technology of the European Parliament. She has served on numerous Boards of Directors, including ISPI and Fondazione Fiera Milano. She is currently a member of the Board Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Municipality of Milan, the Scientific Committee of MUSA Scarl and UNISALUTE.
Among the recognitions and awards she has received, starting with the Belisario Prize in 1995, she likes to mention that she was awarded the honour of Cavaliere della Repubblica, and received the Ambrogino d'Oro from the Municipality of Milan for her entrepreneurial activity
She is one of the 50 women named as InspiringFifty in Italy in 2018 and was listed among the 50 Most Powerful Women by Fortune Italy in 2022.
