Negli ultimi dieci anni ha coordinato i gruppi che operano sugli strumenti a bordo delle missioni Euclid e Planck dell’Agenzia Spaziale Europea. Il suo h-index è 54, è autore e coautore di 306 articoli. Attualmente la sua principale attività di insegnamento è legata al corso di “Laboratorio di astrofisica per lo spazio”.
Anna Gregorio, graduated in Physics (University of Trieste, 1992), with a Ph.D. in Physics (Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, 1995) and a Master in Space Systems Engineering (Delft University, NL 2002), is associate professor of Physics at the University of Trieste.
In the last ten years, she has been coordinating the instrument teams of the Euclid and Planck missions of the European Space Agency. Her h-index is 54, author and co-author of 306 papers. Currently her main teaching position is “Laboratory of Astrophysics for Space”.
She is the representative for University in CIFS (Consorzio Interuniversitario per la Fisica Spaziale) board of directors; member of the Scientific Committee of Collegio Fonda; expert evaluator of the European Commission; invited member of COSPAR (Committee On SPAce Research) Study Group on Small Satellites for Space Sciences.
In her parallel life, more bold and reckless, she is the CEO of PICOSATS, a spin-off company of the University which operates in the field of small satellites.
Convinced sailor, passionate skier, new cyclist and traveler … but far from tourist destinations.
In April 2020 Forbes Italia nominated her among the 100 most successful Italian women.
