“A winner is a dreamer who never gives up” (Nelson Mandela)

With over 10 years of experience in the training sector, Valentina has very good skills in recruitment activities and talent acquisition. During the years she developed strong cross-disciplinary expertise to complete marketing communication plans, achieve strategic sales objectives and manage multiple teams.

She began to work in the education sector at the European Institute of Design (IED), where she had the opportunity to run the communication and public relations activities, coordinating public and private events by joining with the world's top professionals in the advertising industry. During her time at IED she was responsible for the Corporate Relations and coordination of several multidisciplinary projects, designed by the school talents. Afterwards she was in charge of planning the three-year post-diploma courses of School of Communication and of recruitment of teachers with business consulting background. Excited by the importance of creating learning experiences, she embraced teaching as a splendid career adventure.

Then she accepted an offer to join the Graduate School of Business of the Polytechnic of Milan, where her responsibilities include marketing and recruitment for the Executive MBA programs. Throughout this experience she improved her ability to hire managers and executives, handle marketing and communication plans and grew as a team leader.
In 2014 she has contributed to the creation and promotion of Flex EMBA, the first and unique Executive MBA digital learning for senior professionals developed in Italy. This strategy of training managers has led the school to grow and being the first mover of impact in the digital transformation for the Italian Educational sector.

What was fulfilling was having the chance to recruit each year over 300 talented, motived professionals, willing to improve their competences and make a difference.

This represents for her an incentive to believe in a people-centered approach and to support them with training and coaching as together we can create value in organizations and have a positive impact in the society.

This is the reason why she was offered the role of Head of Alumni Relations starting from 2020 and she became a Professional coach.
