Simona Menghini

Communication Director, Oracle Italia

Simona Menghini è oggi Communication Director di Oracle Italia.  In precedenza aveva ricoperto la posizione di Marketing Leader Italia e Communications Manager Italia e Israele di Lenovo, Managing Director, Sud-EMEA (Italia, Spagna e Sud-Africa) e Senior Consultant for Text 100 Public Relations,  agenzia di consulenza di comunicazione e marketing internazionale.

In precedenza, aveva lavorato in Adobe Systems come Marketing Communications Manager e in altre aziende di settori diversi (petrolchimico, editoriale) sempre con ruoli di marketing.

Simona è laureata in Discipline Economiche e Sociali (D.E.S.) all’Università Bocconi di Milano, e ha un diploma di Business Administration dell’ISTUD Istituto di Studi Direzionali; parla e scrive fluentemente inglese e francese e ha una buona conoscenza dello spagnolo.

Nel tempo libero fa yoga e partecipa a sessioni di teatro emozionale-interattivo ma le piace anche dedicarsi ad attività no-profit sostenute dall’Otto per Mille Valdese.


Simona Menghini is a Committee Member of the “Women & Technologies” Association, since 2015. She is also Corporate Communications Director for Oracle in Italy. Before joining Oracle in 2018, she had been Communications (and later on, also Marketing) Manager for Lenovo for 6 years. Previously she had been Managing Director for the South-EMEA region (Italy, Spain and South Africa) and Senior Consultant for Text 100, an international Communications Consultancy with several offices around the world.

With over 25 years’ experience in communications and marketing, both at a local and international level, Simona has worked (and lived) in Italy, Spain, France, South Africa and South-East Asia.

Simona holds a degree in Economic and Social Sciences (Economics, 5-year course) at Università Luigi Bocconi in Milano, and an MBA at ISTUD (Istituto di Studi Direzionali) Business School, achieved through a scholarship. She is fluent in spoken and written English (Cambridge Proficiency), French (Diplome Superieur at Centre Culturel Français) and Spanish.

Simona is an active member of the historic Italian Waldensian (Protestant/Reformed) Church and participates in many not-for-profit initiatives, offering her skills to aid communication campaigns such as the public fundraising for humanitarian and cultural projects (“Otto per Mille valdese e metodista”), for which she achieved a European Sabre Award for the best digital and social media campaign in 2009.

She is personally interested in all activities fostering equal opportunities in access to education, technology and in human rights for all men and women, in her belief that a richer and more just society can only be built through inclusion, culture and learning.
