Dal 2013 al 2018 è stata Direttrice Generale dell'Ufficio per gli interventi in materia della parità e delle pari opportunità della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri.

Laureata con lode in Giurisprudenza, ha conseguito un dottorato di ricerca in Diritto della banca e dei mercati finanziari. E’ attualmente Adjunt Professor presso la Business School della LUISS a Roma e rappresentante per l’Italia nel Consiglio di Amministrazione dell’Istituto Europeo per l’eguaglianza di genere.

All’inizio della sua carriera ha lavorato presso la Banca d'Italia ed ha poi svolto funzioni di Direttore Generale presso il Gabinetto del Ministro per la Funzione Pubblica ed è stata Capo dell’Ufficio legislativo del Ministro per l'attuazione del programma di Governo.

Nel 2017 ha ideato l’iniziativa “In estate si imparano le STEM – Campi estivi di scienza, matematica e informatica e coding”. L’iniziativa, ancora in corso, ha lo scopo di promuovere la cultura scientifica e tecnologica tra le ragazze che frequentano la scuola primaria e la scuola media ed è stata finanziata dal Governo Italiano, raggiungendo circa 10000 ragazze tra il 2017 e i 2018.  

Fino al 2018 è stata coordinatrice del progetto “Lavoro Agile per il futuro della PA”, finanziato dai fondi strutturali europei, un progetto finalizzato alla promozione e allo sviluppo dello smart working presso le Pubbliche amministrazioni, nazionali, regionali e locali , al quale partecipano le maggiori Pubbliche Amministrazioni italiane

È sposata ed orgogliosamente madre di un bambino di 8 anni.

 

Director General of the Human Resources Directorate of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance since January 2019.

Between 2013 and 2018 she served as Director General of the Office for Interventions in the field of Equality and Equal Opportunities of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Graduated summa cum laude in Law, she also gained a PhD in Banking and Financial Markets law. Currently she  is also an Adjunt Professor at the LUISS Business School in Rome  and the Italian member of the Management Board of EIGE ( European Institute for Gender Equality).

At the beginning of her career, she worked for the Bank of Italy and, later on, served as Director General in the Cabinet of the Minister for Civil Service and as Chief of the Legislative Office of the Minister for the Implementation of the Government Programme.

In 2017 she designed the Initiative “Learning the STEM Subjects over Summer -  Summer camps on science, math, computer science and coding”, still on-going, aimed at promoting scientific culture among girl students of primary and secondary schools, a project funded by the Italian Government and joined by 10.000 girls between 2017 and 2018.

Until 2018 she was the Coordinator of the project "Smartworking for the future of  Public administration” funded by the European Structural Funds, a project aimed at promoting and developing smart-working in the central, regional and local Italian Public Administrations , joined by the most important Italian public Administrations.

She is married and is proud mum of a boy of 8.
