1978-1990 Psichiatra presso diverse strutture pubbliche.
1991-2002 Azienda farmaceutica Crinos SpA (dal 2002 Sirton Pharmaceuticals SpA), nella quale ha ricoperto diversi incarichi tra i quali Direttore della Ricerca e Amministratore Delegato.
2003-2007 Foltene Laboratories (prodotti per la cura dei capelli), nella quale ha rivestito la carica di Presidente. La Società è stata rilanciata e poi ceduta.
2005-2010 Presidente di Sirton Medicare, operante in campo dermatologico.
2002-2009 Ha ricoperto diverse posizioni manageriali (Presidente, Vice Presidente) Amministratore Delegato) in Sirton Pharmaceuticals, Società produttrice di farmaci conto terzi.
2002-2009 Gentium Spa, della quale è stata fondatrice nonché Presidente e Amministratore Delegato. In questi anni ha sviluppato l’attività della Società e l’ha portata alla quotazione sul mercato dei capitali negli USA, prima all’Amex e poi al Nasdaq.
2009 - 2014 Consigliere di Amministrazione Gentium Spa.
2011-2014 Presidente dell’Azienda di Servizi alla Persona Istituti Milanesi Martinitt e Stelline e Pio Albergo Trivulzio.
