Corporate Counsel – Amazon Web Services
I am an Italian lawyer with a 18 years’ experience. Currently, I am Corporate Counsel at Amazon Web Services, the cloud computing service provider. I am part of the EMEA Legal Team, with focus on legal and regulatory matters of AWS Italy. At AWS I have developed a specific expertise in relation to technology regulation and agreements, privacy and banking regulation on IT outsourcing. In my previous job as attorney in private practice (I was Counsel at Chiomenti), I regularly advised Italian and international companies, funds and financial institutions, on M&A and finance deals, commercial agreements negotiations, as well as on corporate, regulatory and compliance matters.
I have recently joined AWS’s Italian Inclusion and Diversity Team, with the aim of contributing to initiatives about women’s career progression towards management and supporting colleagues in their parenthood journey, which begins with the desire for a child, pregnancy, and the challenge of combining raising children with work.
I have been playing tennis for many years. Now I have two baby girls, but I never miss a chance to play in my free time!
