Loriana Abbruzzetti

Nata a Monterubbiano (FM), un piccolo paesino delle Marche, il 18 aprile 1965, da circa 25 anni gestisce il “frantoio Abbruzzetti”, insieme al fratello Silvio ed alla cognata Maria Pia, di cui è responsabile commerciale. Nel 2003 fonda Pandolea, insieme ad altre donne produttrici di olio di varie regioni d’Italia, l’associazione culturale che si occupa di diffondere la cultura dell’olio extravergine di oliva di qualità italiano. Con grande impegno organizza attività, eventi manifestazioni, con la collaborazione di molte associate, il tutto a titolo di volontariato senza nessun contributo pubblico o privato. Negli ultimi anni Pandolea si occupa quasi esclusivamente di educazione alimentare nelle scuole, e ha coinvolto oltre 20.000 bambini/ragazzi di scuole di ogni ordine e grado, dai più piccoli agli universitari. Pandolea partecipa a Expo Milano 2015 con la storica iniziativa “Bruschetta VS merendina”. Nel Padiglione Italia, il 16 ottobre (mese dedicato all’olio) in collaborazione con la scuola Borgoncini Duca di Roma e l’editore ClioEdu presenterà il primo progetto italiano di e-learning dedicato all’olio ed all’educazione alimentare.

Born in Monterubbiano (FM), a charming little town of the Marche Region, on April 18th, 1965 where she lived until the age of 19 years. The whole family (father, mother, grandparents, uncle) is engaged in agriculture with various business activities in particular olive oil. Grandfather Sylvester bought in the early '900 an oil mill that since 1960 has always had a female management. The mother Maria (called the "marshal") first, then Loriana in collaboration with her sister in law. She moved to Rome in 1984 to attend the Faculty of Law at the University La Sapienza in Rome, the city where she now lives with her husband engineer and two daughters (university students). From about 25 years Loriana manages the "crusher Abbruzzetti", together with her brother Silvio and her sister in law Maria Pia, where she is responsible for the commercial. She takes part in fairs, initiatives, organizes activities in her own company, handles relations with customers and business operators (buyers and the press) getting successes nationally and internationally. In 2003 she founded Pandolea, along with other women producers of oil from different regions of Italy, the cultural association in charge of spreading the culture of extra virgin olive oil, Italian quality. With great efforts she organizes events in collaboration with many associated producers, all as a volunteer without any public or private contribution. In recent years Pandolea deals almost exclusively with nutrition education in schools involving more than 20,000 children / youths of schools of all levels, from the smallest to the university students. Many important collaborations: Unaprol, Nas, Nac, Repression fraud, University of Macerata faculty of art history, University of the Sacred Heart of Rome Faculty of Medicine, Engim - training body, ClioEdu publisher, Family Forum… All activities are conducted under the auspices of Mipaaf, Ministry of Education and Regions. Pandolea attends Expo with the historic initiative "Bruschetta VS snack" involved in the programming of the Italian Pavilion on October 16th (month dedicated to the oil), in collaboration with the Borgoncini Duke of Rome school and the publisher ClioEdu, she will present the first Italian e-learning dedicated to the oil and food education. The same initiative was already the subject of video recordings posted on the site of Expo Milano 2015.
