Membro del Direttorio e Vice Direttrice Generale della Banca d'Italia dal 10 maggio 2019 (D.P.R. del 3 maggio 2019). In tale veste, è anche membro del Direttorio integrato dell'Istituto per la Vigilanza sulle Assicurazioni (IVASS).
Una laurea in Legge presso l’Università degli Studi di Genova e un Master in Diritto Societario alla Law School della New York University, Alessandra Perrazzelli è iscritta all’Ordine degli Avvocati di New York dove ha iniziato la sua carriera lavorando, come avvocato nello studio legale Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts.
È stata Country Manager e General Counsel di Barclays Italy. Internamente all’azienda anche Presidente dell'Italy Country Management Committee e dell’Italy Risk&Control Committee, membro del Group Diversity and Inclusion Council e Presidente della Regional Investment Committee.
Inoltre, dal 2011 al 2017 è stata Consigliere d’Amministrazione e Presidente Comitato Remunerazione di ATM Azienda Trasporti Milanesi, dal 2014 è Consigliere ABI (Associazione Bancaria Italiana) e dal 2015 Consigliere AIBE (Associazione Italiana Banche Estere)
Precedentemente, in Intesa Sanpaolo, ha ricoperto le posizioni di Head of International Regulatory & Antitrust Affairs e di Amministratore Unico di Intesa Sanpaolo Eurodesk, la società di consulenza del Gruppo per le imprese innovative nell’accesso ai finanziamenti europei.
Alessandra Perrazzelli is general vp of Banca d'Italia from 10th May 2019.
Alessandra graduated from Genoa Law School and New York University Law School (Master in Corporate Law). She is admitted to the New York Bar.
She was Country Manager and General Counsel of Barclays Italy and the Chairman of Italian Country Management Committee and of the Italy Risk and Control Committee. In addition she was Member of the Group Diversity and Inclusion Council and Chairman of the Regional Investment Committee.
Previously, she was Head of International Regulatory and Antitrust Affairs of Intesa San Paolo Group in Brussels, a position she held for ten years. She was CEO of Intesa San Paolo Eurodesk, a group firm dedicated to financing innovative companies.
Alessandra started her career as a lawyer in New York and in Brussels, where she worked at Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts.
Alessandra was until recently a Board member of Azienda Trasporti Milanese since October 2011, member of the Council of the Italian Banking Association since July 2014 and in 2015 she was appointed member of AIBE, Italian Association of Foreign Banks.
