Marina Del Bue

Since November 2000, Marina Del Bue is General Manager of MolMed S.p.A., a medical biotech company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and focused on the development of novel therapies for the treatment of cancer. Since 2008 she is also Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director for the Internal Control of the company. She is Vice-president of Assobiotec, the Italian bioindustry association.
She has over 25 years of experience in managing the economic aspects of product development in the pharmaceutical industry. Her role in MolMed integrates all competencies and responsibilities related to the conduction and management of a highly innovative company operating in an international context and in a crucial field. Key responsibilities and actions taken include:

• implementing MolMed’s evolution from service company to drug developing company;
• building the product pipeline by finalising in-licensing agreements with academic and industrial organisations;
• building international partnerships and closing out-licensing deals with major pharmaceutical companies;
• taking care of private equity extra-financing rounds, and leading MolMed’s IPO;
• adopting and implementing a Corporate Governance system compliant with the highest standards for public companies.

Before joining MolMed, she worked for 10 years in Menarini Group, a leading Italian pharmaceutical corporation, where she gained broad expertise as the R&D Controller. She began the first five years of her career as a researcher in the biotechnology department at Eni Ricerche.
Marina Del Bue holds a degree in Biology from the University La Sapienza in Rome, and a MBA from SDA Bocconi Business School in Milan. .
