Female presidents, prime ministers and, for the first time in history, a female winner of the Nobel Prize for economics. And there are countless women of talent in the field of technology too. For this reason, on 9th November 2009, the rendezvous at the National Museum of Science and Technology (Milan) will assert that technology is also female. But that’s not all. The nucleus of this international conference will be people, with their experiences and their professional and cultural histories. The debate will touch upon the next generation and on how it will integrate the humanities and technological disciplines. A search, in sum, for the innovation of tomorrow.
And the event will once again feature the Women&Technology 2009 Award, the acknowledgement designed for women who are able to “invent the future” by creating technologies.
