Heidrun Flaadt

Managing Director at Cardio e-Tec, Italian University of Switzerland

Heidrun Flaadt has a degree in Biology from the University of Konstanz, where she also completed her PhD studies. She attended the Business Management School of the Institut für Kaderschulung (Zürich) from 2000 to 2003 and took part in the ‘Women into Industry’ programme (a joint initiative of the University of Basel and Novartis) from 2002 to 2003. She has been working in Technological Transfer since her early career, first as Project Leader for The Business Development Company and Office of Technology Transfer (University of Basel), then as Head of Technology Transfer at Empa (Dübendorf). She now has a Mandate at the Italian University of Switzerland for the Development of a new Executive Education Programme in Biotechnology/Biomedicine.
